NutraLane/GNS Customer Service- Resveratrol Scam Complaint- ResVer XP

Below is a letter of complaint sent by a reader to the customer service department

of a Resveratrol Scam company. This one in question is called NutraLane/GNS.

The name of the company is immaterial because they are all offshore servers with no legitimate physical office.

Please learn from this woman’s experience!!!!

Just received my order today, June 1, 2009, order date 5/27/2009Order Number 1971324.

I authorized a free 30-day trial sample of ResVer XP with the only charge to be shipping $3.97.It arrived today and said 2 units at unit price of $0.00 each + shipping of $3.97. That is correct.Your Internet offer is for a month’s supply of RESVER XP. The Ad says  you will only pay shipping of $3.97. At no time during the order process did I agree to the VIP Club or any future shipments or credit card charges.. The ideas of a free trial is to test the product. However [in print so small it is almost unreadable] it stated “This amount of $3.97 has been charged to your credit card or checking account. $79.90 will be billed to your card to complete payment on June 17, 2009, with another double order to be shipped on July 11, and every 45 days thereafter .  THIS IS OUTRAGEOUS AND ILLEGAL TO CHARGE FOR AN UNAUTHORIZED SALE, HOWEVER, TO PROTECT OUR CREDIT, WE HAVE CANCELLED OUR CREDIT CARD.) THIS COMPLAINT WILL BE SENT TO BETTER BUSINESS, ANY AND ALL MEDIA (CNN., WebMD, ABC, FOX, Oprah, etc.) THAT YOU USED ON YOUR SITE TO PROMOTE YOUR PRODUCT AND ALSO TO THOSE WHO DID NOT.  BE LISTENING. Consider this letter of complaint as cancellation of further unauthorized shipments.  As mentioned above credit card has been cancelled.

Even if you are willing to pay, these products WILL NOT turn back the clock, stop you from aging, help you lose weight or any of the other miracle claims stated.

 It’s pure crap.

  • I looked closely at the advertisment through our local newspaper which had a picture of a local yokal talking about how wonderful all this was. I have long been cautious about these scams and no where did I see the terms and conditions on any of the pages I reviewed. I had not opened my packages until I saw the charges on my credit card and called, opened while speaking to the agent on the phone asking for the shipments to be stopped. I did make a complaint with my credit card company plus I am copying everything to turn over to the Texas Attorney General and this usually resolves any of this quickly. I am no longer ordering anything over the internet like this, this is my second round with this “FREE” stuff and believe me there is no free stuff….thank you, Flo

    • I too have been had by this FREE thing. I agreed to pay shipping & handling and nothing more. I was taken advantage of. I will never order anything on the internet again. I tried calling the toll free number several times for a refund, the number is a non-working one, sometimes!! Right then I knew I had been scammed. I did return the product hoping to get my money back. Maybe someone at this so-called company will be so kind as to give me my money back.

I am at my wits end. I ordered a free trial offer for PureCleanse Pro only paying shipping and handling. Now my credit card is being debited for a total of $176.17 (so far). They say I have an Active Credit Card. Does this mean they will be charging me every month for something I haven’t even received?? This product was recommended by Dr. Oz (Oprah Winfrey show) so why am I being scammed.
Watch out for PURECLEANSE, IHEALTH-SOLUTIONS AND TRIPLEUPHERBAL. It all started with the free trial of PureCleanse and it has mushroomed.
This was the first time I ever used my credit card on the net and I assure I never will again.

  • This place is SUCH a fraud. I just got off the phone with Hostile Monica and Steven (sp?).

I called in about a week ago (before my trial ended) and asked them how to avoid being charged for the product which I decided that did not want. They gave me the Return # and I was told to return the product BY 7/26 so as not to be charged. The representative I spoke to then told specifically to make sure I got a tracking number so I could confirm when the product was received, as that was an issue in the past. He told me that I could get a refund up until 8/26. He told me to empty a bottle and sent it and the other one back. I really didn’t want the product, but I did empty a bottle to make the shipping less.

I sent the bottles overnight, guaranteed next day delivery by noon. I tracked my packaged and saw that it was delivered on 7/25 at 10:49 AM and signed for by Z. Joslin. I check my account today 7/28 and see that I was charged $79.90 on 7/27.

I called and spoke to Lindsay (sp?) and she said that the refund was issued today – though it wasn’t showing up at my bank, it may take up to 48 hours. She said that I should not have been changed that is why the funds were returned.

I call my back to see if the funds were showing as pending, they were not. I called Nutralane back.

I spoke to Monica, who was hostile because I would not let her just feed me the canned response, I wanted an answer to the question, why was I told that if they received it BY 7/26 I WOULD NOT be charged, not I would be charged and refunded. She stated that she did not know why I was told that as it isn’t correct, that they have to process the return. She then went on to read me the return policy stating that refunds would be issued up to 30 days from date of receipt and it can take 5 business days to process the refund, that is from the 2 business days that it take to process returns. The 5 business days also contradicts what Lindsay told me a regarding the 48 hours.

Monica read me the T&C regarding the timeframes, but that still did not answer the question as WHY I was changed when I was told I wouldn’t be.

I asked to speak to her supervisor because she kept talking over me and was getting agitated and short. Just because she is giving me a canned response and she cannot vary from that, doesn’t mean I have to accept it. I spoke with Steven for probably 45 seconds; he kept insisting that 1 person would not go against company protocol and promise me that if the package was received by the 26th, I would not be charged.

I believe I asked Monica and Steven (it may have been only Monica though) to pull the call (7/13) but I was told no.

I understand that they need to process the return, and I also understand that it takes time to process refunds, that does not change the fact that I was told if they receive it (not process it) by the 26th of July I would not be change.

I am looking for executive information for this company.
